Burma Lane: Where Asia meets the world

Burma Lane: Where Asia meets the world

Melbourne CBD restaurant dishing up epic fusion food

Just like the country we take our name from, Burma Lane is all about the unexpected. Hidden away down Little Collins Street in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, we’ve played with our food to bring you creative and new taste sensations from around the world.

Chow down on modern Melbourne food, spiced with Asian twists and global flair

Burma Lane has taken inspiration from its namesake country to create a collision of flavours that wakes up even the most jaded of palates. Burma’s multicultural melting pot inspires food that’s fun, fresh, and above all, freaking delicious.

At Burma Lane we take Australia’s proximity to Asia, and our complex immigrant ancestry, chuck it into one big juicy pot and poke it with a kick-ass big stick. Simmer to let the flavours mingle, and what comes out is a uniquely Melbourne menu that’s not afraid to experiment and defy expectations.

Rules were made to be broken

Yeah, we know - rules are meant for other people.

Rules are boring and too much tradition stifles creativity. You won’t see the same old, same old combinations at Burma Lane. Join us for novel reinterpretations of dishes from around the world, and bite into fresh and funky new flavour sensations. Who says you can’t reinvent the wheel?
